Organic Local uses secure server software (SSL), which is the industry standard and among the best software available today for secure commerce transactions. It encrypts all of your personal information, including credit card number, name, and address, so that it cannot be read as the information travels over the Internet.
No order is considered Placed or Accepted from the customer until customer receives a confirmation from Organic Local. A contract of sale of arises on our acceptance of customer's order.
All products offered by us are subject to occasional change in price. This is particularly likely with fruits and vegetables which are subject to seasonal changes in supply levels. We reserve the right to change our prices and products without notice to reflect such changes. Some of our products are priced by weight. The guide weight and associated price are for guidance only. The weight you receive may vary slightly from this guide and the price you are charged will be for the weight of product delivered.
RETURNS, EXCHANGES & MISSING ITEMS
Even with the best systems and people, mistakes do sometimes still occur. If there is something about your order that you are not happy with; please call, e-mail or even text a photo through and we will deal with your issue as promptly as possible.
Any complaints regarding your order (damage, shortage, spoilage) will be accepted within 24 hours after pickup.
CANCELLATION & WHAT IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO PICKUP ORDER
You can cancel your order any time without charge, no later than 7:30am the day prior to pickup. If you cancel your order after this deadline (7:30am previous business day) you will be charged a 20% handling fee for the cost of your order.
The Customer is responsible for making suitable arrangements to receive your pickup and giving us appropriate instructions. If no one is available to receive your order during the scheduled pickup time, we are authorized to hold the goods instore.
We reserve the right to refuse to accept orders from any customer, considerations of pickup problems may give rise to such a refusal.
PRODUCT AVAILABILITY, OUT OF STOCK & SUBSTITUTIONS
We always try to keep the products in our inventory in stock. However, from time to time, due to increased demand, an item you ordered may be out of stock.
In these cases, and ONLY if you have agreed to the substitution clause. We will try to replace the out of stock item for an item of equal value and quality.
We limit our special offers (first time customer, referral bonus and others) to one per household / per person / per address. These offers cannot be combined with any other offers. It is a responsibility of a customer to notify Organic Local’ sales department about the promotion that should be applied to order.
